Eligibility & Requirements

$

Must currently be a Mobile County Deputy Sheriff or Correctional Officer in good standing

$

Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale

$

Submit two letters of recommendation- one from supervisor and one from chief deputy/warden

$

Enrolled in accredited college or university

$

Majoring in a Criminal Justice degree

In an effort to make sure an employee’s work schedule allows enough time for classes, supervisors must sign off on the application along with the Warden(Corrections Officers) or Chief Deputy (Deputies).
